Five new articles covering Final Cut Pro X and Premiere Pro CC for you this week, including a couple of very interesting Premiere videos.

Thanks, Cal! Since we switched to our new newsletter format, I've been getting lots of comments on what we can do to make it even better. But nobody has had more ideas than Cal Deal. I don't think we will ever live up to all his suggestions, but we are implementing them as fast as we can. I enjoy reading all your comments - my goal is to make each issue as helpful and interesting as possible.

Color Correction. Our two latest webinars, looking at video scopes and color correction in Final Cut and Premiere were our two best attended live events this year. For that reason, we are releasing a special promotion featuring these two webinars. If you've been wondering how to get your images to look better, these sessions will help.

Contest Ends. There are only three days left in our "Editing Truths Contest." We've had hundreds of entries and I've enjoyed reading every one. The contest ends this Wednesday at midnight, LA time. So, take a minute to share your thoughts on the editing life with us. And now that the contest is over, we also have prizes to award - so don't miss out.

Need to Know. I really enjoy when an interview on The Buzz causes people to write in and comment. Such was the case last week with our interview on drones. Our lead blog is an important discussion of what you need to know to fly or hire someone to fly drones. With drone use proliferating, filmmakers liability is increasing. This article describes what you need to know to ask the right questions and protect yourself, your property and your projects.

Summer is over and we are rolling on into fall. Enjoy the changing of the seasons and I'll chat with you next week.
